Renee Steller ~ Founder

Origins

Born in Arizona in 1990, Renee's youngest years were spent in the beautiful deserts of Maricopa, before the housing communities were formed that you see now. Her summers were spent in Long Beach or Sacremento. This time period is where her curiousity for nature and technology began.

This curiousity was continuously fed through her formative years with primitive camping throughout northern California while being taught outdoor skills by George Knowlton. At a young age, she had shared learning of computer systems by Rahim Nejati during his own college training.

Renee lived in multiple cities through-out both the east and west valley of the metropolitan Phoenix area until settling in the Mesa in 2006. During her time in Mesa, She participated in multiple art and culinary competitions, worked on production/participated in two student runway shows, and was taught how to organize/plan and host events of various sizes by Anna Knowlton,

2010's

Upon graduating high school, Renee stayed in the east valley while learning about sales and marketing. Through various creative networking meet-ups, she began learning about the benefits in the world of Cannabis.

With little convincing, she embraced the risks of associating with Cannabis, understanding that it would one day be de-stigmatized. Her studies in Interior Architecture reiterated the validity of her conviction by showing further benefits of the plant in everyday life despite its legality issues at the time.

During this time, Renee struggled with liqour abuse and decided to put studies on hold to find rehabilitation in Oregon. Once arriving, she was able to fully invest in the Cannabis world due to its decriminalization status.

In the pursuit of understanding the Cannabis world better,  Renee was exposed to many new opportunities in understanding the world of harvesting all of nature's gifts.

Over the following decade, Renee continued her pursuit for knowledge and sharing what she had learned. She found a good community in Roseburg and Eugene, Oregon that taught her all that she knows today about identifying, growing and harvesting plants, producing goods from them, and trading the goods for life's needs. Her idea to create a bartering marketplace was born out of her work with Anjuli Marsh during this time.

Unfortunately,  she continued to struggle with alcoholism and became disconnected from her community. It took a few hard lessons to set in her motivation to invest in self. In 2021, Renee was able to successfully overcome her battle with alcohol with the help of Tylena and Topanga Anderson.

She spent much time alone in nature, traveling on backroads, living with nature, relearning what it means to live, and realigning herself with her true desires. This is when she returned to exploring her creative spirit and abilities in art, jewelry, candlemaking, and design.  She founded StellerPath Travel, Steller Divergence, and LeScorpius over that time as well.

In 2023, Renee moved back to Oregon to continue to learn and grow from the land.

Present Day

After Renee felt a sense of reclamation and foundation, she began reforming her community and continues to, to this day. She has been building GrownGreenGoodies and her other projects slowly to ensure that each piece aligns with positive energetic resonances. She has a very specific vision for the future and wants to foster peace within the community and world using this vision.  With encouragment and example to follow from Edward Steller, Renee plans to publish multiple short stories and books within the LeScorpius project and travel to gain further understanding of the world in hopes to share the benefits with others within her StellerPath project.

Renee currently resides in Portland, Oregon where she spends her days building this legacy one notion at a time with her partner, Flynn, and senior cat, Dick.

GrownGreenGoodies

The heart of GrownGreenGoodies is founded in the observations and teachings of Renee's parents. Their giving nature and dedication to ensuring the happiness of others helped to form Renee's care for how the world treats itself.

The strength of Renee's convictions is rooted in the support given to her by her grandparents. Their unconditional support of her eccentric style and creative mind helped her stand with strength through times of insecurity.

Renee is inspired everyday by the drive and determination of the people in her close community.
